ELR offers four driving modes dynamically. Tour is the default setting, wqzxc while Sport sharpens the throttle, steering and suspension response. Mount provides additional power required when the value rises and Hold allows the driver to switch to the gasoline engine during highway congestion and preserving energy for city driving slower.
ELR is also equipped with a regenerative braking system twist: steering-wheel-mounted "shift" paddles which enables wqzxc more aggressive deceleration and change the ELR momentum into electrical energy which is then sent to and stored in the battery. Think of it as downshifting which recharge the batteries and so may be a useful feature for use on the road to decline.
